Who we are ?
Artykfilm is a Paris-based audiovisual production company. We produce films, documentaries, interviews, event recordings and brand content in the fields of art, culture, institutional communication and professional video production.
Our work stands at the intersection of documentary filmmaking, visual creation and professional audiovisual production. We support artists, galleries, museums, foundations, companies, agencies and institutions in the creation of films and video content designed for exhibitions, events, websites, social media and institutional communication.
A documentary and visual approach
Capturing a gesture, an artwork, a place or a spoken testimony requires a specific form of attention. Artykfilm favours a precise and restrained approach, attentive to the people we film, the materials, the spaces and the contexts in which the films will be shown.
We pay particular attention to image, sound, light, editing and color grading. Each film is conceived in advance in order to find the right setup: interview, observation, event filming, short film, documentary or communication content.
A human-scale team
Artykfilm works with a flexible team adapted to each project. Depending on the needs, we can work as a light crew or build a larger team with a cinematographer, sound engineer, editor, colorist, motion designer, photographer or composer.
Founded by Julia Sándor, Artykfilm draws on experience in visual arts, audiovisual production and cultural projects. Jozsef Keresztes-Nagy regularly works with Artykfilm as cinematographer, editor and colorist. This collaboration allows us to ensure continuity between preparation, filming and postproduction.
From concept to final delivery
We support each project at every stage: defining the format, preparation, choosing the right production setup, filming, sound recording, editing, color grading, subtitles, revisions and final exports.
Our method is based on clear production management, regular communication and close attention to the specific constraints of each project: schedule, budget, location, contributors, distribution channels and expected deliverables.
Paris, France & international projects
Artykfilm mainly works in Paris and the Paris region, with the possibility of supporting projects elsewhere in France and internationally. We work in French, English and Hungarian.
